What is Optimize
Optimize is the software that controls your charging stations. It sits in Waybler’s charging service and talks to each charger in real time — which ones should charge, how much and when.
When the charging demand changes in the facility, the power is redistributed between the cars at lightning speed. No capacity is unused. No one is waiting unnecessarily.

When several cars charge at the same time, demand quickly hits the ceiling. One of two things happens: the main fuse trips, or the building exceeds its contracted power — and a hefty demand charge lands on the bill, month after month.

Load balancing means the available power capacity in a property is distributed intelligently across charging points, so the main fuse isn’t overloaded. It’s essential for avoiding power outages, high demand charges and unnecessary investments in grid capacity.
Optimize uses patented, advanced algorithms that maximise the number of cars that can charge at the same time — without exceeding the available power. That means more chargers can be installed and used without the property needing to upgrade its electrical connection.
The system continuously measures the total load in the property and adjusts charging in real time. It takes both the property’s other electricity use and each car’s charging demand into account — making sure charging happens as efficiently and safely as possible.
Optimize works with Waybler’s Flex Power Meter or other compatible metering equipment. This is needed to measure the property’s total electricity use in real time and thereby enable dynamic load balancing.
